Villa Description

Casa Tulipanois a superb and stylish farmhouse with extensive outdoor areas, set in one of Tuscany’s most spectacular locations, immersed in Val d’Orcia’s enchanted countryside.

The property hosts up to 19 guests between the main villa and the charming annex, an ancient barn, fully renovated and splendidly furnished and decorated. Surrounded by the typical Val d’Orcia clay hillocks, you can enjoy stunning 360° views over the valley and its hill towns.

The main villa comprises 6 bedrooms (5 double and 1 twin which can become double upon request), all with spacious en-suite bathrooms and built-in air conditioning. The common areas are spacious, furnished and decorated in a unique style. Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, CD player for iPod, free WI-FI all over the house. No radiators, heating is provided by an underfloor heating system.

The annex is a charming ancient barn. Beautifully restored, it comprises a spacious playroom (ideal for Yoga retreats or collective gym exercises), a gym and relax area, as well as a kitchenette, bar/lounge and 3 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms.

• Solar Infinity Pool (5 x 16 meters) especially conceived to take delight of the landscape. Pool heating by solar panels to have it naturally heated at 28/30°C (82/86°F) in summer and 24-26°C (75/79°F) in mid-seasons, depending on weather. Dedicated boiler can further increase the temperature, if needed. For the 2018 season the pool has been converted into a saltwater system, meaning no more free chlorine needed to be poured daily in order to maintain it clean. No more damages to your hair, dry skin, swimsuits fading, nasty smell..

• Florence Airport 1 hour and 30; Rome Fiumicino Airport 2 hours, Pisa Airport 2.5 hours. Private jets, also fly into Siena Airport (1 hour) and some airlines to Perugia Airport (1.5 hours).
• Celebrated Tuscan hill towns as Montalcino, S. Quirico, Pienza, Montepulciano at 15 to 30 minutes driving reach. Perugia, Siena and Assisi: 1 hour. Florence 1.5 hours, Rome 2 hours.
