Start in Martina Franca, with free time to explore its baroque beauty, then visit a traditional dairy farm to watch master cheesemakers craft burrata, mozzarella, and more. A delicious tasting of fresh cheeses, local cold cuts, baked goods, and Apulian wine follows.
Continue to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its fairytale trulli houses. The day concludes with a guided visit to an 18th-century masseria (fortified farmhouse), where you will be introduced to the centuries-old traditions of olive oil production. You’ll stroll through ancient groves of majestic olive trees and explore both the modern olive press and a historic underground oil mill, a true gem of the region’s agricultural legacy.
