Villa Description

Villa Gelsomino is an independent villa, all in stone, located in the middle of a 60acre estate between Montepulciano and Pienza, in the heart of Tuscany. Villa Gelsomino was built in 1751 as a farmhouse and still belongs to the same family. The villa is a brilliant example of Tuscan rural XVIII century style, well proportioned and carefully renovated without altering the original architecture. The villa is furnished with the finest original XIX century furniture, mostly antiques belonging to the owner’s ancestors. The house was inhabited until the late forties and has been recently renovated using state of the art renovation techniques and equipped with all of the modern comforts necessary to make a stay at the villa pleasurable and hassle-free. The villa has its own garden, swimming pool (infinity pool) and is surrounded by olive grove, hills and woods.

The villa is located at 8 km from Pienza and Montepulciano, surrounded by a private estate of vineyards, olive groves, sunflower fields and woods, 4 km from the main road (two of which of dirt road).

The closest A1 (freeway) connections are Chiusi Chianciano Terme at 30 km and Valdichiana at 25 km. The closest towns are Pienza 8 km, Montepulciano 8km, Montefollonico 4 km, Siena 50 km, Montalcino 25 km.
